A Bit About Me
Hmmmm.... What do I want to tell you? ;)
"Out of the broom closet" since 1988. Decided a long time ago that I did not like the label "alternative" (I don't even accept that from other pagans). I'm a religious person and a social equal to any other religious person. Also a long-time parent, so that speed bump has been faced as well.
Born September 1963 here in Texas. Married, mother of two daughters. Career Civil Service.
We have two Russel Terrier mixes, Poppy and Forrest, both shelter dogs. Our Labrador, Hunter, (crossed the veil Sept 2009) has been an astral companion in various dreams; I would consider him my familiar. Our female tabby, Stormlight, crossed the veil March 2009 at age 19.
I live in a haunted house. Two resident spirits, and a few visitors here and there. Ill have to create a separate section for some of my ghost stories and paranormal experiences. Theyve all been very friendly and helpful, except for one early on that had to be evicted.
I love thunderstorms, Ruffles and onion dip, 80s music, moonstone and amber jewelry. My hobbies include photography, reading, singing and avoiding housework. I weigh about 95 lbs soaking wet and have been known to eat a pound of bacon on my day off when the house is empty. I cant tell a joke to save my life, and cooking is an alien concept.
My Franklin Covey planner is almost surgically attached, although I still manage to forget to check it sometimes.
I dont follow modern astrology or read my horoscope. Do NOT bother me during the Oscars or the Triple Crown horse races. My primary exercise regime is pushing my luck, and recycling is sporadic (aka, when I feel like going out to the bin). I dont ask permission of flora before usage. If its between me and a bug, the bug loses.
Pet peeves include political correctness, PST (Pagan Standard Time) and anything that starts with "REAL Wiccans/pagans do/are/believe this...."
Wasn't that an exciting collection of random information? I'll be adding more as I feel inspired. Check back soon!
